Viewpoints of Jávea

Granadella

Last viewpoint in the upper forest park, Jávea's 'green lung' that survived several fires with admirable regeneration.

Route Tips

Perfect ending: distant elevated view of the cove voted Spain's most beautiful beach. Mediterranean environment with rosemary and thyme.

The last viewpoint of the route is located in the upper part of the Granadella Forest Park. This park is the 'green lung' of Jávea and has survived several fires, today showing admirable natural regeneration. From here, the cove is contemplated from a distant and elevated perspective, allowing you to see the entire valley that flows into the sea. It is the perfect closure for the route. Granadella has been voted on several occasions as the most beautiful beach in Spain, and from this viewpoint you will understand why. The environment is purely Mediterranean, with low scrub, rosemary, and thyme scenting the air. It is the ideal place to reflect on the beauty of Jávea before heading down to the cove for a well-deserved swim.

Transport

Although some sections can be done on foot, it's best to travel by car or motorcycle as the complete route covers about 20 km.

Best Time

Sunrise at Cape San Antonio and sunset at Punta del Arenal are the most powerful experiences.
