When is the Loreto festival in Javea in 2026?
From Saturday 29 August to Tuesday 8 September 2026, with eleven official festival days. Warm-up events begin on 17 August with the rosary and novena.
Where does the Mare de Déu de Loreto festival take place?
In Duanes de la Mar, the port district of Xabia. The main venues are Avenida Jaume I, Avenida Lepanto, Paseo Pintor Joaquín Sorolla, Calle Triana, Calle Severo Ochoa and the port arena.
Which days have Bous a la Mar in 2026?
From Monday 31 August to Friday 4 September, with sessions at 12:00 and 19:00, plus night bous al carrer at 23:30 from 31 August to 3 September. The Baret dels Bous closes on 4 September.
When are the mascletà and the fireworks?
The mascletà is on Tuesday 8 September on Paseo Jaume I, right after the 12:00 mass. The waterfront firework display goes off the same day at 00:30, followed by the orchestra until 03:00.
Do I need a ticket?
No. Every event in the programme is free and takes place on public streets. A few limited-capacity activities, such as the palm-weaving workshop, do require prior registration.
What is there for children?
Saturday 5 September is Children's Day, with a children's wake-up parade, hot chocolate, a water park, a foam party, carretones and paella. There is also a travelling planetarium on 3 September and family shows on 27 August and 1 September.
