This is the only viewpoint on the route that requires a small hike. It is reached after a 30-40 minute trail from Cala de la Granadella. Here you will find the ruins of an 18th-century fort that served to defend the coast against attacks from the British fleet. The wall foundations and strategic location speak to the military importance of this enclave. From the Castell, the view of Cala de la Granadella is unbeatable. You will see the entrance to the cove protected by cliffs, an image that has graced the cover of countless travel magazines. On the other side, you can see Cap de la Nau. It is the perfect place for hiking lovers who seek a visual reward after their effort.

Transport

Although some sections can be done on foot, it's best to travel by car or motorcycle as the complete route covers about 20 km.

Best Time

Sunrise at Cape San Antonio and sunset at Punta del Arenal are the most powerful experiences.

Equipment

Bring water, comfortable shoes (some viewpoints have dirt paths) and good binoculars to see the islands and boats.
