Xàbia, 22 September 2026.

Aigües Municipals de Xàbia (AMJASA) has signed two collaboration agreements with the Fishermen's Guild of Xàbia and the Fundació Residència Asilo Hermanos Cholbi, two benchmark organisations in the municipality, with the aim of strengthening collaboration and commitment to the social fabric of Xàbia.

The agreements have been signed by the president of AMJASA, Rosa Cardona, together with representatives of both organisations, and establish different lines of collaboration linked both to support for the municipality's social activity and to the promotion of responsible and efficient water use.

Collaboration with the Fishermen's Guild

The agreement with the Fishermen's Guild of Xàbia entails the extension of the existing collaboration agreement and provides for the maintenance of specific conditions for water supply during the term of the agreement.

Likewise, both organisations maintain their commitment to collaborating with the social, cultural and educational fabric of Xàbia, as well as to promoting the appropriate and efficient use of water resources.

AMJASA will also offer technical advice to the Guild with the aim of promoting rational and efficient management of water consumption.

The agreement will be valid for two years, with the possibility of extension for a further two.

Collaboration with the Fundació Residència Asilo Hermanos Cholbi

The second agreement establishes a framework for collaboration between AMJASA and the Fundació Residència Asilo Hermanos Cholbi, reinforcing the social work carried out by the organisation in the municipality.

The agreement provides for different measures of collaboration and support for the Foundation's activity, as well as the commitment to promoting efficient and responsible water management in its facilities.

AMJASA will provide technical advice to help optimise water consumption and will collaborate with the organisation in those aspects covered by the agreement.

For its part, the Foundation maintains its commitment to caring for and supporting people in situations of need, in coordination with the Social Services of Xàbia Town Hall.

The agreement will be valid for three years, with the possibility of extension for a further three.
