Les Caletes offers one of the most complete views of the bay of Xàbia, where the landscape unfolds continuously along the coast. To the south, the coastline rises towards Cap de Sant Martí or Cap Prim, closing the bay. From here, the complete structure of the bay is revealed, with its two capes and a wide central arc.

This viewpoint makes it possible to take in a large part of the municipality's coastal profile in a single view.

Later, a large wooden waterwheel, driven by animal traction, was added to facilitate the movement of water. Today, it is preserved as a testament to this ancient hydraulic system.
